We have been very busy in the South Shore community these last couple of weeks, and will continue to be out and about in October. We were so grateful to be part of the Cartwheels for Kids Event in Norwell, and are so happy to be part of breaking the record for most cartwheels done at the same time! I think Calle is very proud of all of us, what a poignant way to honor her life and remember her spirit. Funds raised at this event will go towards fighting pediatric cancers, because none of our children should ever fight alone.

Last week Dr. Heather, Erin, and Lisa had a great time at the Hanover Touch a Truck. We sponsored the balloon animal artist and got a front seat view of the helicopter landing and taking off! It has been a pleasure to see this grow from a town event to a South Shore event, kids from Hingham, Scituate, Marshfield, Weymouth, Rockland, and towns even further away came to enjoy what might be the biggest Touch a Truck in the area. Thank you Hanover Firefighters for all of the hard work you put into this event.

In the next couple of weeks we are excited to be part of the South Shore Children’s Museum’s Trunk or Treat Event at the Hanover Mall on October 16!  (https://www.facebook.com/events/1139060816165071)  Dr. Heather is looking forward to decorating her car spooky-style, and handing out toothbrushes to remind kids to brush after trick or treating! We are also happy to help our neighbors across the street, the Norwell Police Department, as we are a sponsor of their 5k and kid’s fun run here in Norwell on October 22!

Stay tuned to our Facebook page and website for Halloween tips in the next couple of weeks (and info about our Candy BuyBack Program with Operation Gratitude), and if you don’t have an appointment, be sure to drop by the office the last two weeks of October to see all of our pumpkins, it’s almost time for our third annual staff pumpkin decorating contest!!!
