Dear Patients and Families of Norwell Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics/Adult Dentistry:
Our passion is teeth, but right now, our teeth can wait. In light of Governor Baker’s new orders regarding the State of Emergency in Response to COVID-19, and in step with the recommendations of the Massachusetts Dental Society, Norwell Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics/Adult Dentistry will be closed from March 17-April 6.
The doctors ARE available for emergency appointments. Please call our office (781-659-7442) as you normally would in order to reach the doctor on call. We want to do our part to keep our patients with dental issues out of the emergency room. If you are unsure if you should see a doctor or a dentist, please call us first, and we can assess the situation. Please understand that in an effort to respect social distance policies and to preserve necessary personal protective equipment, only true emergencies should be seen at the office.
If you have a non-emergency question that you would like to discuss with a dentist, please leave a message on our answering service. Our messages will be checked every 24 hours, and we will get back to you within 24-36 hours. We are still here to field any questions you might have about your or your child’s dental care. The doctors want you to know that they are available by phone, even if we cannot see you in our office.
Our administrative staff is going to be available for appointment rescheduling or insurance questions. Again, please call the office at 781-659-7442.
We would like to remind our patients and staff that while these are uncertain times, what we are doing now through significant social distancing is very powerful, and potentially life saving. Please take the new policies set out by Governor Baker seriously. Limit contact with others as much as possible. These measures are temporary (though they may not seem it!), and we look forward to seeing you all again in the future.
We will continue to monitor the situation, and if we need to make new arrangements, we will contact our patients by email.
